Culture talks.
We host creative talks about the workflows and case studies of international artists — to spread knowledge and open up the conversation around AI in art and architecture.
Visionmachine is a studio and learning lab founded in 2024 by Prof. Michael Holze and XR-artist Christopher Noelle aka TOFA. We host culture talks, run think-tank sessions, teach courses and produce AI stills and motion graphics far beyond regular stock footage.
With a blend of technical expertise and creative vision, we strive to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI developments and real-world applications.
Our mission is to explore the frontiers of AI and translate these discoveries into impactful insights — empowering others to navigate and shape the future of technology, science, art and creativity for a better tomorrow.
Founded in 2024 by Prof. Michael Holze and XR-artist Christopher Noelle aka TOFA, the studio explores creative thinking processes through podcast episodes, knowledge-transfer learning material and workshops in collaboration with international speakers, visionaries and creators.
We don't use AI for the sake of using AI. Every model, every step in a pipeline has to do something the previous tool couldn't, or do it better. If a pencil is faster, we reach for the pencil.
Generative output is a starting point, never a deliverable. Composition, type, color and timing are decided by humans. The model is a partner, not the author.
We build small, modular workflows that we can audit, tweak and rerun. Every project leaves behind a reusable piece of infrastructure for the next one.
Our workshops use the same tools we use on commissions. Nothing is taught from demoware. If a technique can't survive a deadline, it doesn't make it into the curriculum.
We treat every release with curiosity and every claim with friction. We test things ourselves before we believe them, and we share the boring conclusions, not just the exciting ones.
We take fewer projects than we could, so we can finish each one properly. We'd rather ship four pieces a year that we're proud of than forty we're embarrassed by.

You have an idea but don't know how to realise it. We deliver the brain-chocolate by combining our knowledge with AI in all kinds of directions.
We offer online courses and can also act as speakers for festivals, schools and universities — sharing the practical side of working with AI tools today.
We create individual content production of AI stills and motion graphics — far beyond regular stock footage, tailored to the specifics of each commission.
